Oral sedation involves taking a prescription anti-anxiety (or sedative) pill an hour prior to your visit. Since it does cause a very sedative, drowsy effect, you will need someone to drive you to and from your appointment. You will remain calm, relaxed and sleepy during treatment, but will be able to respond to our instructions.
Commonly used in many dental offices around the world, nitrous oxide offers a happy, euphoric dental experience. Nitrous oxide is a colorless, odorless gas inhaled through the nose before and during treatment. Once the procedure is complete and the nitrous turned off, you will return to normal without any lingering side effects.
