Dr. Alec Cheng is a Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics, and is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia. He received his DDS from the University of Toronto, a Postgraduate Certificate in Prosthodontics and Master of Science in Oral Science from the University of Iowa. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Fellow of the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. Dr. Cheng is a member of the Association of the Prosthodontists of Canada; President of the BC Society of Prosthodontists; and is, in private Prosthodontic practice in Vancouver.

Alec is extremely well rounded and down-to-earth. He enjoys explaining things to his patients and keep excellent communication with his referrals so that they will have the peace of mind that he takes very good care of their patients. Alec enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and is passionate about swimming, movies and photography.
